I can’t believe I forgot to post about this volunteer opportunity that we took advantage of in early April. We went to the Coleman Pregnancy Center after school to sort baby clothes. Since it was starting to get warm out, we packed up the winter clothes and took out the spring outfits, so that they would be more easily accessible to families.
This may seem like a small job, but it was a huge undertaking. There were so many clothes (which is terrific). We have a lot of generous people in our community! Even with all of us working together, we were only able to make a small dent in the project. The Pregnancy Center was a great place to volunteer and they needs tons of help. If you like to organize and you have a little time to spare, this is a great cause.
